Who We Help
The David and Erin Robertson Foundation has partnered up with several charitable organizations located in Alabama that assist people affected by tornadoes. These organizations include Northport Church of Christ, Habitat for Humanity Tuscaloosa, and We Are T-Town.
There are thousands of people that were severely affected by tornadoes this year and still need help. Here are just a few of the stories…
Anthony
Anthony, 8, has DiGeorge Syndrome. Due to the high medical bills, his family was struggling to make ends meet. Then on April 27, 2011 their home, cars and all their belongings were reduced to rubble. Their possessions are gone, but the bills and Anthony’s disorder is not. We have teamed up with “The Ryan and Jenny Dempster Family Foundation” to create a special fund to help this family rebuild what they have lost. Help by donating and joining Anthony’s cause.
Nick
Nick, from Phil Campbell, AL. He was in his home as his mother held him and they were taken by the tornado. His mother broke her shoulder and collar bone, their home was destroyed and all their possessions are gone.
Dewayne
This is what is left of Sheila Weston’s home. Here is her story…

Dewayne was my oldest son and I always knew that he was going to be a baseball player. Before he was even born, I began collecting baseball cards for him. Baseball and fishing were his life. He played baseball for Holt Elementary for three years before his death. I can still remember arguments he and I would have about what team he would play baseball for; I wanted him to play for the Braves but Dewayne always said he was going to be a pitcher for the Yankees.
But my son was never able to play baseball for the Yankees because… [read more]
